Description:Online application SRG2159 Application for the issue, renewal, revalidation or variation of an instructor certificate can be used to apply for the issue, renewal, revalidation or variation of the following instructor privileges:

• Class rating instructor (CRI)
• Flight instructor (FI) 
• Flight test instructor (FTI)
• Instrument rating instructor (IRI)
• Mountain rating instructor (MI)
• Multi-crew co-operation instructor (MCCI)
• Synthetic flight instructor (SFI)
• Synthetic training instructor (STI)
• Type rating instructor (TRI)

You will need to upload Course Completion Certificate CAA5018 as part of the online application.

The only instructor privileges that cannot be applied for using this form is FI(B) and FI(S).
Applicants for an FI(S) certificate should apply via the BGA.
Applicants for an FI(B) certificate onto a national licence should apply via the BBAC.
Applicants for an FI(B) certificate onto a UK Part-FCL BFCL licence should apply using SRG1104B.
