UK Civil Aviation Regulations

These are published by the CAA on our UK Regulations pages. EU Regulations and EASA Access Guides published by EASA no longer apply in the UK. Our website and publications are being reviewed to update all references. Any references to EU law and EASA Access guides should be disregarded and where applicable the equivalent UK versions referred to instead.

This guidance outlines the approach the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will adopt in publicising and consulting with stakeholders on Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEEs) received as part of spaceport and launch operator licence applications.
It explains when and how the CAA will consult on the AEE’s, including where information may be viewed, how comments can be made and the timescales for a consultation. It also provides advice to prospective spaceport and launch operator licence applicants on what the CAA considers to be best practice in their own stakeholder engagement.
