Please note that, in the event of the UK leaving the EU without a negotiated agreement, some CAA website content and application forms may continue to carry the EASA logo or reference the EU or EASA rather than the UK CAA in the short term. These will be updated in due course following the UK’s departure from the EU. Description:General permissions for flights being conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Standardised European Rules of the Air (SERA).

NOTE : ORS4 No 1124 paragraph 4 ‘Flying Displays, Air Races and Contests’ has been revoked with effect from 6 June 2016. Safety Notice SN-2016/005 provides an explanation and should be read in conjunction with ORS4 No 1124.

As of 18 August 2016, ORS4 No 1124 will be revoked and replaced with ORS4 No 1174.
