Title:Planned Withdrawal of Retail Very Low Bandwidth Leased Lines (Analogue Private Circuits and KiloStream)
Description:British Telecom (BT) is withdrawing all its remaining sub-2Mbit/s leased lines, (sometimes referred to as very low bandwidth leased lines, Analogue Private Circuits or KiloStream), on 31 March 2020 and it is vital that all remaining users migrate onto other services before that date. It is highly likely other communication providers will withdraw similar services if they utilise parts of the BT infrastructure. The purpose of this Information Notice (IN) is to raise awareness of the forthcoming withdrawal and ensure service providers have adequate time to assess the impact of the change on their operational and business systems.
