Please note that, in the event of UK participation in EASA and mutual recognition of licences and certificates ceasing, some CAA website content and application forms may continue to carry the EASA logo or reference the EU or EASA rather than the UK CAA in the short term. These will be updated in due course following the outcome of the transition period negotiations on the long-term aviation relationship between the UK and the EU. Title:UK Flight Information Services
Description:The UK Flight Information Services (CAP 774) details the suite of air traffic services (ATS) which (excluding aerodrome services) are the only services provided in Class G airspace within the UK Flight Information Region (Where notified, elements of the UK FIS are also provided to aircraft operating in Class E airspace). Therefore, this document is equally applicable to all civilian and military pilots, air traffic controllers, and Flight Information Service Officers.

Supplementary guidance for pilots on the the types of Air Traffic Services that are available to all flights operating within Class G airspace and, where notified, to VFR flights operating in Class E airspace is available in CAP1434 UK Flight Information Services.
