UK Civil Aviation Regulations

These are published by the CAA on our UK Regulations pages. EU Regulations and EASA Access Guides published by EASA no longer apply in the UK. Our website and publications are being reviewed to update all references. Any references to EU law and EASA Access guides should be disregarded and where applicable the equivalent UK versions referred to instead.

The CAA understands that there are a number of pilots who transferred their licences to an EASA Member State before 31 December 2020, who are still waiting the issue of their EASA Flight Crew Licence. To allow these pilots to continue operating UK-registered aircraft, the CAA has issued a Validation to grant such pilots who obtain their EASA licence between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2021.

Individuals wishing to take advantage of this validation should download the document on the link below and complete the information as to their previous UK Flight Crew Licence number.
