Title:Operation of 'Permit-to-Fly' ex-military aircraft on the UK register
Description:This CAP specifies the operational requirements that an applicant for the issue of a Permit-to-Fly for an ex-military aircraft is required to meet. The maintenance requirements are set out in BCAR Chapters A8-23 and A8-25. Significantly updated requirements and expanded guidance for operators of ex-military permit-to-fly aircraft. Reflects recent changes to ex-military aircraft regulation and CAP403 on air displays, as well as revisions to CAP1395 Safety Standards Acknowledgment & Consent. Also cross-references other CAPs to shorten the document and avoid duplication.

Broad topics where major revisions have been made are set out in the Summary of Revisions in Edition 8 on page 6. However, due to the scale of the changes to the layout and content there are no individually marked changes in the document which should effectively be read as a new document.
