On average there are over 250 civil flying displays each year attracting in excess of two million spectators. It is of the utmost importance in the interests of public and personal safety, that those who participate in such displays operate to the highest standards. These notes are intended to provide advice to display pilots to help them avoid the pitfalls which have been experienced in the past.
