These guidance notes are intended to provide applicants for the grant of a National Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) Rating (Aeroplanes) with background information regarding the Personnel Licensing Department policy for that rating. The information will help applicants prepare for this flight test, but it must be remembered that aspects mentioned here are of a general nature only and do not give precise details of each exercise or manoeuvre.
