Please note that, in the event of UK participation in EASA and mutual recognition of licences and certificates ceasing, some CAA website content and application forms may continue to carry the EASA logo or reference the EU or EASA rather than the UK CAA in the short term. Title:Framework for the competence of rescue and fire fighting service (RFFS) personnel
Description:Following the introduction of Commission Regulation (EU) 139/2014 (EASA Rules), and revisions to the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Fire and Rescue Services, a comprehensive review of the CAA’s Framework for the Competence of Rescue and Fire Fighting Service Personnel (CAP 699) has been undertaken. This review was carried out in collaboration with the Airport Operators Association (AOA), aerodrome operators, representative associations, and RFFS training providers.
