Please note that, in the event of the UK leaving the EU without a negotiated agreement, some CAA website content and application forms may continue to carry the EASA logo or reference the EU or EASA rather than the UK CAA in the short term. Title:Standard Instrument Departure Truncation Policy
Description:This Policy Statement (PS) is intended to provide guidance to ANSPs on action required to truncate existing conventional, and certain RNAV1 Standard Instrument Departure (SID) procedures where a sponsor of a SID, or the associated ANSP determines environmental benefits can be achieved by reducing the length of a SID. Also included is a template which should be used by sponsors when making a submission to the CAA.
