Please note that, in the event of the UK leaving the EU without a negotiated agreement, some CAA website content and application forms may continue to carry the EASA logo or reference the EU or EASA rather than the UK CAA in the short term. Title:Safety Assessment of National Aircraft (SANA) by the UK CAA Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft (SAFA) Team
Description:The UK CAA SAFA (Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft) team will carry out a limited number of Safety Assessments of National Aircraft (SANA), i.e. UK operated, ramp inspections on behalf of the CAA Safety and Airspace Regulation Group (SARG). The purpose of this Information Notice is to make UK Aircraft Operator Certificate (AOC) Holders and Aircraft Operators aware of the process and the use to which the information and findings made during these inspections will be used.
