Description:This course expands on the basic introduction of Fatigue Risk Management Systems course by focusing on developing a deeper understanding of fatigue science and the tools used to gather objective and subjective data. Expanding further on how to develop and use an airlines’ specific fatigue metrics to understand their fatigue risks; how to use these metrics when conducting the fatigue assurance functions required of the system; with the focus on how to develop an effective reporting policy. Benefits from using real life examples of what works; highlighting the most common problem areas to developing an effective system and re-emphasises the importance of an open reporting culture. Delegates will learn how to develop a fatigue risk safety case to seek a variation from prescriptive limitations and will be provided further guidance to developing effective fatigue training and safety promotion.
