Title:KPMG: Overseeing the financial robustness of a promoter in delivering new airport capacity
Description:The CAA is consulting on a number of issues relating to the regulation of Heathrow Airport Limited’s (HAL’s) price control and in particular issues relating to new capacity.

The CAA commissioned KPMG to analyse how it could protect customers from the risks of, and the impact on passengers of, a promoter of new runway capacity going into a financial distress.

This report supports our on going work on financial resilience and our recent consultations CAP 1610 and CAP 1658.
