Please note that, in the event of UK participation in EASA and mutual recognition of licences and certificates ceasing, some CAA website content and application forms may continue to carry the EASA logo or reference the EU or EASA rather than the UK CAA in the short term. Description:In support of the Government’s drive to increase testing for COVID-19 the CAA exempts UK shippers, operators, their agents and the Royal Mail Group PLC, from the requirement for rigid outer packaging, as required by the Technical Instructions for the transport by air, of patient samples classified as Biological Substances, Category B, UN3373.
